Personally, I get it. Spending the time in your head, overthinking everything, and staying small because it feels safer. But safety isn’t what takes you where you want to go.

Yeah, so sorry but we’re done with that. We’re tapping into new energies now.

With that said, here’s my fall reset plan—10 steps to make sure 2025 is actually the year everything changes.

1. Take Control of Your Life (No More Passenger Princess Energy)

Before 2026 even starts, you need to decide: are you going to be the main character of your own life or just let things happen to you? Every day from now until December, practice making intentional choices. Not what your parents want, not what looks good on social media — what YOU actually want.

Use these last few months of 2025 to grab the damn wheel.

2. Stay Authentic to Your Own Path

Stop comparing yourself to everyone else’s highlight reel. Sarah’s Instagram boutique or Katie’s nail business? That’s not your lane. You have your own gifts, and when you waste time copying others, you’re telling the universe you don’t trust your own.

Sorry to say but—Blessings only flow when you’re aligned with your authentic path.

3. Drop Your Parents’ Expectations

Your parents are limited by their own traumas and experiences. Just because they love you doesn’t mean they always know what’s best for you. You’re not here to repeat their cycles — you’re here to break them. Do what lights you up. Build your own life.

4. Master Communication Skills

If you can’t communicate, you’re stunting your growth. Period. Strong communication opens every door: friendships, networking, opportunities, and healthy relationships.

So how can you improve your communication? Emotional intelligence, actually listening, being comfortable with both small talk and deep conversations, conflict resolution, and setting boundaries. Babe, learn these and watch your entire life upgrade.

Fall is shadow work season — No dead a*s. I don’t know what it is about them months that end in “-ber” but I literally find myself getting smacked in the face often by seasonal depression. So I think now is the time to dig into those subconscious patterns that have been running your life. Your conscious mind says “I want better,” but your subconscious mind whispers every reason why you don’t deserve better.

Use these next few months for therapy, journaling, and healing work. Get to the root of what’s been holding you back. Because you can’t take the same inner baggage into 2026 and expect different results.

10. Enjoy the Damn Journey

If you’re obsessed with the end goal, you’ll miss the actual life happening right now. Stop being tunnel-visioned on who you think you need to be in 5 years.

Ground yourself. Use all your senses. Touch grass (literally). Because if you don’t know how to enjoy the moment, success will never feel like enough when you get there.
